Battle Scar Poem by Kedavion Kennedy

I've had enough, I can't take no more, I've suffered to much from this long hard war. But even through all my struggles, I haven't given up yet. It upsets you that I still stand here, tall and strong, you're facial expression tells it all. Did you expect me to be broken? Hurt? Weakened by battle? I've been through many more battles in life, and I have the scars to prove it. You may shoot me down with your words, but i refuse to fall, I will surely stand tall. This is just another obstacle in my life, that I will overcome, another battle that I will come out of standing strong and sturdy. With yet another battle scar.
