Be Alive Poem by Carolyn Brunelle

Be Alive

To feel alive be creative
and learn something new;
keep the mind busy
find something to do.
Fire up the brain cells
stoke the embers of age;
there’s a whole book to be read
if you keep turning the page.
There’s a lot more to the story
with its own pay off and glory;
exercise of that space between the ears
is its own reward through many good years.
