Be Good, Lady - Poem by Leslie Alexis
I experienced it today.
The sadness that won’t go away.
When an angel came to visit,
But the angel could not stay.
Why is it that good never last?
Why are they are wrongfully
Forwarded fast, into one’s past?
I’ll remember you young lady,
Please grow into a fine lady!
Love your mom and daddy too
And please never ever forget,
They know what’s best for you.
