You cannot hear the voice of God until you still your own.
God brooks no interruptions.
Nor does He raise his voice
Above the background interference
Of your inferior suppositions.
If you wish to be at one with God,
You must first lose yourself in Him.
Completely let go, and He will hold on.
I have no idea what the Buddhists are trying to say when they talk about “losing your identity.”
