Be The Last - Poem by Charlie Galan

Be the last
Face I see
Before taking leave
Of this failing fragile vessel.

Be the last
I gently touch,
As the beauty
Of my senses
Falters and fades.

Be the last
Voice I hear
Tenderly whispering reassurances
Everything is going to be all right

Knowing it won't

Be the last
To forget
Our love
Transcending forever
These fleeting final moments.

'Every thing is going to be all right'- we have to take it to our heart and live to see and we will! (Report)Reply
