Bitter Tears - Poem by Charlie Galan

I never knew

How bitter

Tears tasted

Till they rolled

Over my cheek

Finding the corners of my lips;

Lips wanting only

The tender touch of yours

Which remain

Elusive,

Untouchable,

Alluring

Forbidden

By circumstance
