Bitter Tears Poem by Charlie Galan

Bitter Tears

Rating: 5.0

I never knew

How bitter

Tears tasted

Till they rolled

Over my cheek

Finding the corners of my lips;

Lips wanting only

The tender touch of yours

Which remain

Elusive,

Untouchable,

Alluring

Forbidden

By circumstance

Bitter tears can turn into tears of joy if you open your mind to positive transformation. In only 14 lines, you've perfectly expressed the emotions of a broken heart!

It happens in life and one has to reconcile to the realities of life!
