Be Tough Poem by Analice Javier

Be Tough

How tough we must be?
How brave we should be?
To stand what is right
Maintain our dignity..

This world we live in
Different faces can be seen
Too difficult to distinguish
Who is real, who is mean...

Worst are those who belittle us
Humiliate people out of their delights
Pushing you to the limit
Till you give in to the bait

You think you're strong?
You think you're tough?
Exerting your energy
As they instigate the fight?

Never allow them to use you
Nor allow them to win over you
The life you have, the heart you've got
Are more valuable than what they have

Being tough is having the power
Controlling anger, saving strength wiser
Keeping away from those trouble plotter
Though it's hard, you'll always be the winner...
