There was a sound- soft and retreating
It’s my heart, for you, its beating

It has rhythmic notes and they are clear
It’s about our love, I can hear

Love that has been sweet and sublime
That has gone through tough time

That has given us a meaning to live
We learnt to accept and forgive

Let this sound remain in me for long
Helps us build the bond strong

It will take us to a realm from where
Love will come in a thick shower
