Beating Time Poem by Douglas Scotney

Sheer numbers of shows
and ease of recording
are challenging bio-science
to fit in more than one show at a time,
and to let you watch a show as you drive,
which a few already think they can do
and are being studied to see if it's true
and can somehow be transmitted
to your average viewer and driver,
who is copping a steep fine or four,
for authorities fear
fitting in is near,
and, that bio-science to the fore,
of that source of money
there will be no more.
