You have a light that no other man has.
I see it when you walk into a room.
You lift the spirits of those around you.
When you talk to me I see the sincerity in your eyes.
I can hear it in your voice.
There’s so much about you I want to know,
But I don’t know where to start.
I still get tongue tied when you look at me.
And for the first time in my life I’m at a loss for words.
I don’t know what to say.
But once I hear your voice, the playful conversations start.
And all my fears fly away into the midnight sky.
I lay awake hoping that I’m in your dreams.
Hoping that this isn’t all in my head.
And praying for a miracle that you’ll show up at my door and say,
“You’ll be mine and I’ll be yours.”
My beautiful Angel!
I’ve been longing for that moment.
That time in my life that I can give my heart to another.
And that person gives their heart to me.
