today was a beautiful day.
and don't we all need beautiful days?
i'm glad I got to share mine with you,

we'll both go out tonight, meeting someone new,
and what's beautiful about that,
is that i'm finally not afraid of losing you.

i know you're leaving,
and what we have now....
is a long kiss good bye.
and i'm so happy right now,
that i've decided i'll be sad when i have to.

these last few days,
have been gifts,
and i'm not looking that horse in the mouth.
