Beautiful Heart
In abundance; where heart and flesh
Contents are fulfilled and satiated;
Lord, deign me a beautiful heart.
In sorrows and pains, aridity, criticism
That seem to last forever;
Lord deign me a beautiful heart.
In success; in good tidings happy
And easy goings;
Lord deign me a beautiful heart.
In frightful sight of stormy clouds;
Coldness and barrenness;
Lord deign me a beautiful heart.
In haste for important goals to finish;
And forced efforts ruled my head;
Lord deign me a beautiful heart.
In uncertain future; cloudy and stormy
The surrounding's doubtful;
Lord deign me a beautiful heart.
In happy gentle ambiance with
Loved ones and friends near;
Lord deign me a beautiful heart.
