Beautiful Lord Poem by Linda Burns

Beautiful Lord

How gracious you are, Lord,
to your children below.
We worship your name, Lord,
and we hope that you know;
our adoration we send up to you
Our Lord and our Savior
so trusted, so true.

Sweet Jesus, you bled, Lord.
For your stripes we feel grief
Yet without your stripes, Lord,
there would be no relief
from sickness and pain, Lord,
from despair and from hell.
Just how often you save us
Lord, how can we tell?

I think you say some important things. The last line is an especially good thought.
