In the midst of buzz and beauty's call,
Salima sits, yet stands apart from all.
Mirror's gaze, a fleeting, shallow sea,
Her soul whispers, 'Is this all there be? '
Around her, laughter, life's vibrant hue,
Sisterhood's bond, in moments true.
Yet, deep within, a yearning light,
For silent prayers in the still of night.
'Are you okay? ' Asks the artist's care,
A question hanging in the salon's air.
'Just thinking, ' Salima's soft reply,
A soul adrift 'neath the vast, open sky.
Talk turns to peace, a shared desire,
Salima's heart alight with inner fire.
For beyond the chatter, the style, the dress,
Lies the sacred salah, her true express.
With bill settled, and compliments shared,
She steps into sunlight, soul bared.
A swing in her step, a light in her eye,
Under the vast, embracing sky.
Salah calls, a sacred, divine embrace,
A moment of peace in the worldly race.
Her beauty within, a serene, quiet plea,
In prayer, in faith, she's truly free.
So from the salon's laughter, she walks away,
A Sufi's heart beating in the light of day.
For in each prayer, each sacred word she's found,
A love, a grace, in salah, profoundly bound.
