Beautiful Songbird Poem by Jimmy L. Lyons

This woman I know has a beautiful voice;
when she sings it's so soft and smooth.
I could listen to her all night long;
no matter how tense I feel it will soothe.

I love the clothes this woman wears;
I love her beautiful long dresses.
They're green, blue, black and always long;
just looking at her relieves my stresses.

She often wears flowers in her long black hair,
and she shows me that radiant smile.
She goes to church every Sunday morning,
and she carries herself with such style.

I want to send my prayers out to her,
this beautiful songbird I know.
I want her to be adored and blessed;
and continue in God's favor to grow.
