Beautiful World Poem by ANJANDEV ROY

Beautiful World

The wayfarer was moving from place to place
In search of the beautiful world,
He was tired of seeing and experiencing the unpleasant world,
Pain and plight constituted the harsh and unfriendly weather of that globe.
He was travelling tirelessly, but nothing fruitful was visible,
Being sad and dejected when the traveller was ready to return,
He saw a bright light in the remote corner;
In an ecstasy of delight he ran there and witnessed
The light was coming from the inside cottage.
An invisible man said to him in a soft voice,
"Cross the threshold and sit on the pleasant mattress of the calm floor,
You will feel the eternal beauty of the world."
The wayfarer did so and and truly enjoyed the glorious world.
