Beauty Poem by Elle Jay E..

Beauty

Eyes that sparkle like the sun
But I can't tell what color they are
Smile that lights up with fun
But is hidden in the dark
Mouth that pouts when it's hurt
But spits nothing out but dirt
They don't see the real me
The me behind the beauty
The me behind the shame
The me behind the strange name
The me that's never seen
The me that's a mystery
They don't see the me past the beauty
Crying and trying not to die
Fighting with angels that just Pass by.
Keeping a secret
Bigger than life itself
Sure won't be good for your health...
The beauty that's in me
The beauty you see
Try to look past it
So you can see what I can really be
