Beauty Poem by Walter Reed

Beauty

Beauty like a rose in bloom
Feelings that are by chance
To slip into happiness for once
And to fall at first glance
You came when there was no other
And now you're all I see
I wouldn't trade this moment for anything
Or the thought you're here for me
The sands of time slip through the hourglass
And each embrace feels like the first
Every kiss begins one new memory
Nothing in comparison to quench my thirst
