Beauty, You Have My All Poem by James Darwin Smith II

Beauty, You Have My All

May this strength
Protect your frail
At any cost
Sacrificing everything
Into the currents
Of yesterday's dwelling
As we celebrate
A new tide's resurgence

Beauty, I know all of your flaws
Guess what?
I love every bit of them
They created a warrior, after all
One so powerful
With great importance

You always dealt
With so much
Pain and frustration
As time has once
Forsaken you
All of your unlimited worth

And then
When you screamed
And had enough
No one even bothered
To listen
Even you always
Listened to them

Yet, I can hear everything
The past, the present
And yes the future
If needed an ear
To always
Ring into with force

You always had to fight hard
Always surviving
Against diabolical intentions
Chaos no one could feel
But only you
And that is what made it
All hurt even more

I see and feel
These insidious memories
All around you

But know this
I will never be afraid
Of those demons that fester
Within the confines
Of what was once
Thought of
As safe and secure

You are so beautiful
In so many different ways
In fact beyond any clichés

Beyond the excuses
Of those who feel demanded
Of being hero for just one day

I will never be a hero
For one day, or the next
But someone
Doing his best
To take all the pain away
From here on out

Then I would take it
Within myself
So I know exactly
Where it all came from

May this strength
Belong to you
At your most utmost consent
Even if it meant
For me to become
Frail because of it

I can always keep fighting
By building up myself
In case anything
Ever tries to hurt you again

And as the tide
Willfully crashes in again
Everything will change and rearrange
All for the better
Against the worst
This I promise you

No matter
Who you want to be
To me

Beauty, you have my all
