Because Of You Poem by Allyson Gordon

Because Of You

Why can’t you see
What you’ve done?
Once I had a father
And now I have none

Do you even know
how much you’ve hurt me?
I know you’re blind
But I wish you could see

See all my scars
Where the pain flows out
In the form of blood
But you’d still be in doubt

You cannot believe
You could do that to me
Well here’s a newsflash
Dead is what I want to be

I hope you pay
For the life you stole
From within me
You’ve taken my soul

I’m lifeless now
Because of you
Look at the mess you’ve made
Now there’s nothing you can do

COMMENTS OF THE POEM

I remember the letter you were gonna sent 'him.' You should hav sent that poem... It not only draws a picture of the pain and agony he's caused you. But it also gives sound effects and a narrator telling the viewer of how you really feel... But then again he'd still probably get confused and not understand. Brilliant poem babez. Keep writing xo
