Bee Hive Poem by Amanda Jane Yates

Bee Hive

Mighty fortress made out of stone.
Home where the Queen Bee has her throne.
Hear the hum of daily toil.
Timeless work that naught can spoil.
Drones and Workers all uphold
Richest hoard of liquid gold.
Mighty fortress made out of stone.
Home where the Queen Bee has her throne.

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
I saw a photograph of some stone bee hives. It looked so much
like the Queen bee's castle, I knew there had to be a poem in it.
