Been Tortured Poem by Babalola Jubril

Been Tortured

Rating: 5.0

Bullied by words,
Slashed me into pieces with words,
Strikes me down with his strength,
He is an hefty man,
He pushed me to the wall,
Struggling to take the cane from him,

Life leaves me with no soul,
Enabling my hands to write,
Inscribe those words on the wall,
With pain and burning anger,
I write down my experiences,

I strike the wall heavily,
Walls like a thin membrane,
That permits any visitors,
Tears fall on them,
The wall is crying,

The sun rises from its depth,
Fall onto the wall,
Kill the pain; dry my tears,
But he forget to erase the scars,
They remain with me forever.
