Bees Poem by heather sweeting

Bees

Rating: 5.0

Busy bumbling, stirring, stumbling, wildly fanning fragile wings,

Nectar sipping, pollen dipping, fuzzy buzzy things with stings!

Pollinating in the orchards, flirting with the aubergines,

Driven into drunken stupors by the scent of runner beans!

Bees on clover, bees in Dover, bees at rest or foraging,

Bees in hives and making honey, doing jiggly dancing things!

Yellow stockinged, blossom hopping honey pots upon the wing.
