Bees Birched In Spring - Poem by samuel jan

Spring asked the eager
Can I have some honey
To feed the sunflower buds?
So they will smile soft and
Then my season will be more sunny
The eager bees, deafened by their
Buzzing and huming, said yes
But they have no honey yet
And fed the sunflower buds
With venerable drones
Spring, upset by their foolishness
Birched the bees
All season long
