Before And After The Big Bang Poem by Royston Allen

Before And After The Big Bang

Rating: 3.5

Before the big bang there was eternity,
a timeless and dimensionless infinity.
No length, breadth, or height, or gravity
an eternal, measureless immensity.

There incomprehensively lived the One:
The Father, The Spirit and The Son.
Dwelling in this spiritual sphere,
with angelic beings everywhere.

In the beginning God said, "Let there be, "
creating the Cosmos and history.
In that small space the "Big Bang" came to be
with light, time and matter in infancy.

Into the nothingness light exploded
Each photon with God's power wasloaded
Creating the great vastness of space
light shot forward at such a colossal pace.

Then the great universe began to grow
filling the vast vacuum as it did so.
Stretching through the darkness of that dark night,
igniting the void with its firstborn light.

Here Gods' omnipotence has been displayed
as the stars and great galaxies were made.
These things so immeasurable by man
The Almighty embraces with a span.
