Before Bowing Down Poem by Varghese J Kuttikat

Before Bowing Down

Rating: 5.0

The arrow that struck down the sparrow
Making love to its mate most intimate
May fall short in its venomous intent
Compared to the insinuating shot hideously decorated
The Judas kiss vies with words cunningly delivered
In the guise of intentions noblest, kinship celebrated
Words could be devils hideous or gods benevolent
Before bowing down, make sure Man unbound
You are bowing down to a deity deservedly enthroned
