Before The Cold Comes Poem by D.A. Woods

Before The Cold Comes

Rating: 5.0

It's September and the leaves begin to die,
and here I am, still alive.
There's optimism in the air and I don't know why.
Everything in my life has led to nothing,
Wasn't that a big surprise.
If I can look back on my life with hindsight,
It's easy to be wise.
