Before The Crimson Dawn Poem by Sven Rhoads

Before The Crimson Dawn

This night that has weighed heavily on my heart
A cardiac arresting dream that's eating me alive
In the fight for my life when everything goes dark
At the twilight hour its a war just to survive

Bleeding through the night
Bleeding just to wake
Waiting for the breaking light
Another moment I cant take

Battle the demons that are waiting behind my eyes
Before the crimson dawn a brand new nightmare will arise
Creatures from the depths and the corners of my mind
Driving every nail in to make me their sacrifice

Keep me awake my darling
I dont want to be alone
Stay with me, dont ever let me go
Every time the sunset loses its glow

Bleeding through the illusion
Bleeding in this dream
Fighting to find solution
Land of nod in silent screams

Dont let me go into the night
Stay with me until the break of light
I know I must remain so strong
Before the break of crimson dawn
