Begging For More Poem by Tess Rockenstire

Begging For More

Rating: 4.0

The first time I saw you,
My heart beat like a drum.
Like a dream in a maze,
You came to me..
Your voice is like music to my heart,
A melody that never ends,
Calling deep into my soul.
I wish I could hear them when nights are frail.
When days are cloudy,
And when hours are misty
Or when minutes are dusty.
Your touch gives a new voice,
Your kiss gives a new life,
And I hear a new beginning.
Deep in me a cry of passion…
Begging for more.
Your silhouette dancing,
Your smile merged with mine
As I cupped the contour of your face.
Affection of love shows,
I love you genuinely.
But will you be here tomorrow?
When birds don’t sing,
When street light is dim
When the seaport is romantic
When my passion is high
Or when I need your hand,
To hold mine when I’m lost,
Just that I need you now,
And maybe tomorrow,
Or could I have you?
Today and forever more.
Loving you is all I care.
