Beguiling Chain Poem by tess fielders

Beguiling Chain

Rating: 5.0

dangerous mould invading terrain
not his but stolen
sequestered acquired for gain

pretty accoutrements beguiling chain
sparkling tinsel
capturing innocent brain

clever pronouncements rarely sane
a child attuned
hypnotic familiar refrain

adoring eyes no matter the rain
her daddy her love
would always remain

innocent love remains intact despite the fallacies, shortcomings etc.it is unconditional and remains so till the waves of love hit the rocks of material reality. this poem is again a marvel, beautiful images created here, smooth flow, simple words carrying a depth of meaning. a poem pregnant with beauty and music, one needs to read patiently to enjoy....

The child adorns me like Thomas Hardy's 'Tess of Durbevilles'. Tess this is an Excellent poem.
