Behind The Bridge Poem by Besma Jemaa

Behind The Bridge

The sky rains messiles
The ground blooms bombs
The houses crack down
The men collapse each while
This is the scene, the everyday scene.
Nice topics to be covered by the news isn't it
Nice scenes for photographers and movie makers
A rich source of inspiration for poets and writers
But are all of us helping with anything for the case
I wonder if this well stops sheding all these ideas,
How would life be wihout all these fatalities?
How can the pharaohs still live in supremacy
If the bridges open will there be any pharaohs at all
If the supreme power was taken away will there be any uncle Sams or U.S.A.?
