Being a Christian is easy to be
Be, as Jesus said be like me,
Put your faith in his redemptive work
Resist temptation without a smirk.
Love all your enemies as well
As the Bible does truthfully and faithfully tell,
Do not hate and do not falsely judge
And never ever hold a grudge.
Help and feed the poor and the needy
Do not become selfish and greedy,
Remember when judgement day finally does come
A rich man or sinner will not enter into God's kingdom.
Never be hateful or mean or unruly
And never ever be a braggart or a bully,
Whatever you done or spoke here on earth
It'll be heard by God, after the world's rebirth.
Teach and tell all about our Lord and Savior
Let that be your lasting behavior,
Do and say as Jesus had taught
Let his teachings and his ways be what you sought.
If you say, "I love God", but you hate your brother
You're a liar like one sinner is to another,
And he who doesn't stand in light he stands in the darkness
Unto the devils way he has said, "Yes".
Don't be like the ones who mocked the lord
Don't be like the ones who wanted him dead by the sword,
Follow always in the Lord's teachings
Always follow Jesus's preachings.
Being a Christian is so easy to do
Love others, even strangers as Jesus loves you,
Give your life to the Lord as your own salvation
Then with a smile, you'll be a better creation.
