Being Me Poem by Veronika Bitkina

Being Me

To be or not to be
And that is not a question.
Be working steady little bee
Or disappear in blind regression,
Be in competitive aggression,
Or be myself enjoying life
And disappoint all around.
Don't want to chose. Not one. Not five
Don't want to talk to make a sound
Don't want to smile to make expression
Don't want to be just on the ground
Don't want to leave my small obsessions
Don't want pretend
Don't want be bored
Don't want the friendship ever end
Don't want not know how place a chord
Don't want not fight with pretty sword
Don't want to wait when one respond
Don't want to have a lonely bond
Don't want the weather be the same
Don't want to feel a stupid shame
Don't want to play a boring game
Don't want to miss who doesn't care
Don't want to breath tobacco air
Don't want to have an awkward moment
Don't want to be unknown as poet
Don't want agree if not agree
I want to be just being me
With all imperfectness. No quiz.
And be accepted. As it is.
