When you know someone you care,
Its human nature,
You cannot change that,
To care is to understand and want to help,
But when you cared
And what was said,
Was lies and deceit,
It can lead each astray,
Yet,
I believed you,
When you told it like it was the truth,
Because that is what they told you,
So, you believed it as so,
And cared without knowing,
The real actual truth?
I believe you if you made a mistake,
For to make a mistake is human nature,
None of us are perfect,
That is why we are mere mortals,
And we all make mistakes,
When danger comes a knocking at your door,
And knocking you down and telling you what for?
The instinct in can make us lie,
To save ourselves at that time,
Then maybe to explain later why?
For to lie is a mistake,
Yet, we all have at one stage in our life lied,
Staying true to yourself will get you along the way,
Been too honest in these time periods can get you suppressed,
Or can endangered us when too truthful in our ways,
That is a struggle and a maze of life,
In today time and period,
Not everything is all as it seems,
Don't ask me my business and I will tell you no lies,
For knowing all I know,
I would not risk it,
And tell you everything,
So, don't ask me my business and I will tell you no lies,
For,
I have lied,
I have lied for love,
I have lied for freedom,
I have lied to stay safe,
I have even lied to myself when it comes to love,
Have empathy is what keeps us believing.
So, tell me,
Is it true or false?
What you did or said?
When it comes to knowing someone,
You know is true to you,
I will believe you,
I will promise you that,
Even at the time,
You had to lie.
