It starts the same
the automatic boom
and she's his
words play on repeat
he tells her
how much she means to him
she wants, , so much, , to believe
but she's heard it all before
More than anything
she wants this to be true
and she waits
hoping that
, , unlike the others, ,
his actions will back his words
that this will last
and it'll be them
She believes.
