Bereaved People Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Bereaved People

We shed many a tear
And pray through each year,
Giving our thoughts
To a love so sincere.
But no-one cries forever.

Strong we have grown
Now walking alone.
Our main endeavour
Is to face 'stormy weather'
Without doubt or fear.
And melancholy moments
May quietly and gently disappear.
The archives always recalling
Sweetest memories ever dear.
