Bethlehem, Some Nights Back Poem by james watkin

Bethlehem, Some Nights Back

Let me at him; let me touch
The heaven-fallen child.
Eyes twinkle divine in love's
Greeting knowingly smiled.

Down from cold hills, in shepherd's
Fullness of joy, into
Three knelt realm's gift-glow; what
For a holy awe blew.
