i told my eyes to say nothing
my tongue to blink i'm better
without you
i trained these hands to sing
you goodbye
in the most awful tune
i begged my body to lie
you away
yet here you are to stay
and i'm scrambled
like the morning eggs
i will happily cook for you

An interesting, imaginative poem, where you have body parts doing thins they can't (the eyes talk, the tongue blinks, etc.) . I like it, especially the ending: and i'm scrambled like the morning eggs i will happily make for you I have one that is similar in some ways. You might like my poem 'Do Something Different'.
I just read your poem and absolutely love it! It immediately put me in a place that's oddly comfortable and every bit exciting.
