Was I better

Than last week,
Than
I was yesterday?
Did I reach out better
Toward the moon's soft glow;
Did I dream a bit bigger
Do you think it showed?
Did my glossy hair
Catch the light
Reflected in the rain?
Was today a bit
Better...
Or was it just the same?
