Between Heart And Mind Poem by kavita bhat

Between Heart And Mind

Rating: 4.8

one day when i was sitting on my chair
gazing around the nature & breathing some air
i heard someone uttering, whispering & shouting
to my suprise it was my heart & my mind who were fighting.

conversation they had was really intresting
so i kept quite for a while and went on listning.........

my heart shouted at mind saying....dont u have a heart?
how can u forget him so easily, how can you make a new start
the good moments u shared, how can you wipe them away
is this what you call love which ended in a day?

my mind smiled and said...

at times you dont see........ things which are true
today i'll give all answers & explainations to you
i always act rude, i pretend i dont care
i confess that i m fake, its a mask that i wear

i mask myself...i try to be tough
so when you are low i should be strong enough
as i know u r too weak to face such a situation
and i cant see u jump into a well of frustration

i can live with a feeling of guilt for years
but thing which hurts me are your precious tears
ending up everthing in a day is what i try
so later you suffer less...and less you cry....

i know all wounds are healed as time moves on
i wipe memories off so that they are never found
i always rebel.....i m always rude to you
but its simply because i really care for you!

Dear Kavita, More I read more I understand your poems. This is very smart way of acceptance with caution for someone you love. Manoj

Dear Kavita, The fear of losing is stronger than the happiness of having for some people. It could be an experience for someone also. Good work to put in the poem. Manoj
