There is a space between the lines
When you're there
You will do time
Maybe
You will find
Open your eyes
and you won't be blind
You'll find it
Between the lines

He fell down hard
Five thousand angels
Almost lift him up
But with all his might
He stand up
Got to be real careful
Don't want to goof up

How can you be yourself
When you've been misplaced
Been slapped in your face
Made last place
Off beat and out of step
You don't even have a rep

Look up and see between the lines
Everything comes in time
Just sit still
You'll find
If you open your eyes
You won't be blind
You'll find it
Between the lines
