You Got My Wall Poem by Minister Peacefulpoet

You Got My Wall

A rainbow shines
You run and hide
I offer you a rose
You push it away
Say
What's your problem anyway
In your storm
You smile and laugh
As I stand lost against your masquerade
You got my wall
Pretending you're not there
Don't want to treat anybody like that
But if that's what you want
Who am I to judge

I just want to love
And be loved
I just want to share
Just want to care
And be cared for
If that is a crime
Then Jesus died justly
Men and women might as well
put each other to death
But I cannot believe that
You believe
We're all different
See things in our own way
But everything has a cost
You at least owe me an explanation
But you won't
And I don't know why
It makes a man want to cry
A gift left unwrapped
You spit in the pot of gold
and curse at my kindness
