They said to beware
Of a person reading off a teleprompter or a script,
Especially when they are live on the air
And with reasoning and true knowledge they're not equipped.
In the past though they understood that it was okay
When a teleprompter or a script was often used,
Facts and logistics is what the readers did say
And their opponents were not mocked or ever abused.
They knew how to be polite and knew how to read
And they knew what they were talking about,
The politicians then was a different breed
They didn't whine, accuse, or lie and then complain and pout.
Beware, of anyone using a teleprompter instead
I heard many on the right do speak,
Because, their champion is confused from what he does read
So, lies and hate and with bullying they only speak.
Beware of those who want to argue and/ or fight
Just because they are not that knowledgeable any at all,
Beware of those who can't truly read and write
Be weary of those who likes to insult and name call.
Beware of those who use a teleprompter I hear
Instead listen to someone, who wants to speak off the cuff,
Especially when they don't understand the words, but fear
So, instead we hear insults and all the lies they're making up.
When their allotted time to speak has ended
Shut your mouth your time to speak is not extended,
We don't want to hear your interruptions, not even a sneeze or a cough
So, that's why they cut the mic off.
