Beyond Saving Poem by Kathryn Allen

Beyond Saving

My grave so shallow and so cold
My corpse so pale and grey
No one here for me to hold
Nothing left for me to say

The lonelness within my soul
That's what did me in
Misery put me in this hole
Left to bathe in my sin

Wishing only for one kiss
Upon my dead cracked lips
A prince charming would be bliss
His arms around my hips

Alas, i feel it's just too late
To save this broken heart
Lost within my deadly fate
Of being so torn apart.
