Beyond The Horizon Poem by Nigar Sultana

Beyond The Horizon

Rating: 5.0

Beyond the horizon
I behold the eclipse sun,
Birds are looking back
Seeing darkness only darkness then.

I wish to see the world
Through the eyes of the bird,
The sun forbids me
Not to see the world beneath me.

Life is not related with life there
One sustains meeting the strives here.
Poverty and ignorance devour the heart
Love not stays but a kind of greediness and thrust.

Forgetting the counsel
I come to the earth,
Behold men’s coloring spectacle
Everlasting violence and wrath.

Men, thee know the evil
Thee know the good,
So why thee driven away from the path of truth.

Let me make thou heart like me
Let me change thee,
Then you will realize
Why God not make thee so little like me.

Nice... I suggest you, next time, try include more vivid descriptions. It will make your poem a favourite. Still, it's good.10 Regards, MIMI
