Bi-Polar Poem by Sally Plumb Plumb

Bi-Polar

Rating: 4.5

Through life's
bloody orifice
I kicked my way.
Inheritance of polar
strength...
I've had to pay.

Time and time
I drag the ball
to freedom,
time and time
I'm pulled down
from the sky.

An awesome balance,
sparkiess, yet discerning,
creates disinterest
to my moderate eye.
From lonely dungeon
to the ever flying,
inconstant moods
entwine me till I die.

Mature and funky, sophisticated but down to earth, romantic yet realistic: another winning poem!
