Big Brother Poem by David Castaneto

Big Brother

I can sense your hunger for a mother's warm loving embrace,

I can feel you glare at my eyes like I'm a beast. Bloodthirsty and Crazy,

Your smiles are frowning, Your laughs are weeping, You mask it, But I can see it on your face,

I'll be a mountain to climb, to overcome, to admire, For you to see

And even if your heart fills with animosity, I'll still be that brick wall standing in your way, I'll protect,

Though someday I'll be reduced to rubble, That is when you'll stop cryin'

It's my obligation to be your protector as well as your obstacle, I write in this context

That the time you see me dyin', at least I can see you smilin'.
