Bigford Bunny Poem by Pradip Chattopadhyay

Bigford Bunny

Bigford Bunny, Bigford Bunny, can you hear me?
If you don't hear me, leave behind a penny.
Bigford Bunny, Bigford Bunny, can you see me?
If you don't see me, how can god, can he?
Bigford Bunny, Bigford Bunny, can you help me?
If you can't, or you won't, you are one of many.
Bigford Bunny, Bigford Bunny, why I call you twice?
You are no god, just a mortal, and that's no surprise.
At will you buy, you occupy, even the outer space
Pollute the pole, lust for the whole, and change the earth's face.
Bigford bunny, big and rich, the world is your empire
You have only today for fun and play, let the future burn in hellfire.
