Bike Poem by William Kofoed

Bike

Bikes
All the boys had one
And fathers taught them
How to ride
And we would go
To a steep hill
Where I could barrow one
And coast down
Both feet stuck out
To keep from falling
Slowly learning
Till I could pedal
So I learned
A lesson hard
To count on me
To do things alone
