Billy Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Billy

Rating: 2.5

'Cursed be he who curses you and,
Blessed be he who blesses you! '
For this earth is not my home.

My love is like a missing child to you and,
My life is like a brown cap to you;
But, when the rainbow comes,
You will be looking for my sweet love.

You are all that i need and i will wait for you like,
The cupbearer and the baker;
And my sweet love is like the King of Egypt.
I will bless those who bless you and,
Curse those who curse you my love;
So come to me and learn from me as well,
For my love is like a missing child to you.

Billy, come and learn how sweet love grows;
For i have kept my golden tree for you alone,
So do come quickly to me and put your shoes off.
